Hello, Ava J’zs foodies! Today, we are going to be preparing my Cabbage & Smoked Meat.
INGREDIENTS
3 Cups of Water
1-2 Large Cabbages (chopped)
4-5 Pieces of Smoked Meat
2 Tbsp. of Preferred Seasoning (Salt, Pepper, etc.)
GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
Add the water and smoked meat to a pot.
Bring the water to a boil and place a lid on the pot.
Cook on medium heat until the meat is tender and a majority of the water has been boiled off.
Add the chopped cabbage.
Cook the contents of the pot for an additional 20-30 minutes or until the cabbage is tender (*Note: The cabbage will reduce in size once cooked as cabbage is about 92% water).
Serve with a side of cornbread and enjoy!
