Project Description

Hello, Ava J’zs foodies! Today, we are going to be preparing my
Sloppy Joe Casserole.

Andrea G

  • 3 lbs Ground Turkey

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper

  • 1 White Onion

  • 2 Cups of Elbow Noodles

  • 2 Cans of Sloppy Joe Mixture

  • 1 Cup of Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbeque Sauce

  • 1 Bag of Colby Jack Shredded Cheese

  • 1 Bag of Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese

  • Your Favorite Ground Meat Seasonings

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉.

  • Dice the onion and bell pepper.

  • Place the onion, bell pepper, turkey, and your favorite meat seasonings in a pan. Turn on your stove to begin cooking all of the ingredients together.

  • In a separate pot, cook the elbow noodles.

  • When the ground turkey is cooked, drain any excess oil.

  • Add the ground turkey and vegetable mixture to the same pain as the cooked elbow noodles.

  • Add the sloppy joe mixture and barbeque sauce to the same pan, then mix everything together.

  • Once mixed together, add a handful of each of your cheeses to the pot. Mix it together. (Feel free to add more cheese, you can never have enough!)

  • Add the mixture to a deep baking dish. Spread the mixture out evenly.

  • Spring two cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the baking dish.

  • Put the baking dish in the oven and let it cook uncovered for 30 minutes.

  • Take the dish out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

  • Enjoy!
